My sister the DJ.

My sister recently participated in the local, Sisters of Spin competition (an amatuer DJ competition for girls)
It started off as a complete joke, but I think she did well, and looked right at home behind the decks.
Although she didn't make it through to the next round, she put on a pretty good show.
Go Sister!

Jay Kay you are so cool. Stop it.

Isn't this man too cool for school?

Every time I see or hear him I feel infinitely less cool than he is.
He is individualistic, so creative and just plain-old damn frikken cool...

I don't think I have ever met anyone who doesn't enjoy a good Jamiroquai song. It defies all natural laws. ;)

I bet you didn't know this: He currently holds the record on the BBC show Top Gear for the fastest lap on the "Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car" segment at 1:45.81

Weren't they great?

Ooh I need your love babe. Guess you know it's true. Hope you need my love babe. Just like I need you. Hold me, love me, hold me, love me. I ain't got nothing but love babe. Eight days a week.

So, I am totally before The Beatles era, but still have the ability to enjoy timeless classics.

Because I always tend to support the underdog, I favored Ringo, just cos I think he needed love, but I also liked John cos he looked so sad in those eyes.

Never-the-less, and anyhow, I thought I'd dedicate a little space for them in my blog.

FYI- How did The Beatles decide on their name? (Thanks to WikiAnswers):

John said a man on a flaming pie came to him in a vision and said,"From this day forward you are Beatles with an "A". Yeah Right!! It is thought it was a play on words of the Crickets, Buddy Holly's back up band.
The main inspiration was Buddy Holly's band, The Crickets. ("The Beetles" were the rival gang in Marlon Brando's movie
The Wild One; this may also have been an influence.) Original group bassist Stuart Sutcliffe suggested the name; John Lennon was responsible for the B-E-A-T spelling, from beat music and the Beat Generation
